This 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 convertible was acquired by the current owner in 2013 and now has 30k miles. Modifications following the owner’s acquisition involved adding an Ultra Z-style hood and a body kit as well as revised suspension components, while the 5.7-liter LT1 was fitted with a Lunati camshaft, chromoly push rods, AFR cylinder heads, ARP hardware, and a dyno tune. Shifting is through a six-speed manual transmission, and the car also has a Drive Train Specialists rear end with a 4.10 gear set as well as a Ram clutch kit, an aluminum driveshaft, and 18″ Forgestar wheels. The black finish is accented by a matte black stripe, and additional equipment includes a black soft top, black leather and microsuede upholstery, a MOMO steering wheel, and a stereo system with a touchscreen head unit and JL Audio components housed in a fiberglass trunk enclosure. This Z28 convertible is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with modification records, a car cover, and a clean Michigan title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in black, and paintwork following the seller’s acquisition included adding a matte black stripe. Equipment includes an Ultra Z-style hood, a rear spoiler, a body kit, a black convertible soft top, a black grille, and black headlight surrounds. A Hawks HID headlight kit is installed.
Forgestar 18″ wheels are mounted with 255/45 front and 305/45 rear Nitto tires. Red-finished calipers are fitted over cross-drilled and slotted discs at all four corners. Suspension modifications noted by the seller include the following components:

- The fiberglass trunk enclosure has microsuede accents and houses a JL Audio subwoofer and amplifiers.
- The MOMO steering wheel is trimmed in black and has a red centering stripe. Reverse-glow white gauge dials are installed over the 155-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 30k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership. The service engine light is illuminated.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Drive Train Specialists rear end with a 4.10 gear set. A Ram clutch and a Trick Performance master cylinder are installed along with a skip-shift kit and an aluminum driveshaft. A Borla cat-back exhaust system has also been fitted.
